I am a divorced mother of two (now adult) sons. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who practiced as a mental health therapist for about 18 years. I then unfortunately was in a near fatal car accident which required intensive physical and speech therapy for a couple of years in order to recover fully. When I was able to return to work, I decided to go in a related but different direction. I took 40 hours of mediation training as well as being trained as a Guardian ad litem. From this entire experience (of an unexpected mid-life career change), I learned what it is like to be in very difficult financial circumstances. I have a great deal of empathy for individuals who are struggling financially and in other ways (with a special needs child, for example). I know from personal experience how hard it is on children when their parents divorce, and much of my time as a therapist was devoted to children and families. I am very thorough and I have yet to experience a judge failing to follow my recommendations, except in trivial ways.

Hourly Rate: $85
Retainer Amount: $1500
