I am a clinical psychologist, licensed in Maine since 1997, with most of my experience in child and family case work. From 1993 until 2003, I prepared dozens of psychological evaluations, mostly regarding children, while also maintaining psychotherapy cases. I have served as expert witness several times. As a psychologist, I have treated children with developmental disabilities, trauma histories, attentional disorders, oppositional disorders, family relationship problems, and other behavioral and emotional issues. I have done co-parenting counseling with divorced or separated parents, and I have provided play therapy and talk therapy to children and teens with deeply conflictual divorced or separated parents. I am a divorced father of two elementary-school children, and I continue to work with their mother to communicate with each other respectfully and to make choices in the children’s best interests.
