Education: Cornell University (B.S. 1976); UM at Orono (M.Ed. 1991), and UM School of Law (J.D. 2002)

Before attending law school, I worked for many years as an educator in alternative education, adult education, and college programs in western Maine. After law school, I clerked for the Maine Supreme Court for a year and then worked for an Auburn law firm doing family law, Guardian ad Litem work and workers' compensation law. Since 2008, I have been working on my own and in a partnership as Guardian ad Litem, Parenting Coordinator, and mediator. I enjoy interacting with children of all ages and parents from all walks of life. I actively work with parents to address real co-parenting relational issues in a practical manner so that conflict can be minimized.

Fees:

Hourly Rate: $75
Retainer Amount: $1,500-$2,500
Accepts Pro Bono cases (contact the Guardian ad Litem for details).
