Meredith Richardson
RESOLUTION Education: J.D. 1994 Hastings College of the Law B.A. 1990 University of Pennsylvania Phillips Exeter Academy 1987 I am a guardian ad litem and mediator in Maine and New Hampshire. In these roles, I tailor my work to the needs of each case. I try to work with the parties to achieve an agreement that addresses the family’s needs. When the parties do achieve an agreement, I typically will not write a report. If no agreement can be reached, then I will do an in-depth report of about 8 pages, single-spaced. In an effort to avoid bias, I tend to do my work in two stages. The first is a fact-finding stage, where I meet with the parties and children, separately and together, talk with various people who are involved in their lives, gather and review records, etc.. It is only after I have completed that stage that I evaluate what I have found. I view people as complex and multi-faceted, and tend not to label a person based on one behavior trait, be it positive or negative. I believe that people have the capacity to change and encourage people to get the support they need to make changes that may be necessary. Fees:
Hourly Rate: $100
