Because I have been doing this work for over twenty years all over the state in both child protective and in family law cases, I have a depth of experience which enables me to see what custody arrangements will work from the child’s perspective and what won’t. I do my best to help the parties and the children (if old enough to participate meaningfully) to design solutions which will accommodate the needs of all sides and allow the children to have maximum contact with the extended families of both parents. The best interest of a child is often served by a parent who feels that his or her custody arrangement is fair.
