Since 2003, I have been serving as a Guardian ad litem for children in Southern Maine. In addition to a Bachelors in Social Work, I bring a solid understanding of child development and much child welfare experience to my work as a Guardian ad litem. Years of casemanagement experience have ensured that I am well versed in family support services available in the communities of southern Maine. This combination of experiences has assisted in my developing an ability to assess and address complicated family problems, but most importantly it has taught me to identify strengths within the family. I treasure being able to work with children and families. I believe children benefit from and have the right to healthy relationships with both of their parents as well as their extended family members and community.
