Zachary Paakkonen
West End Legal, LLC Education: University of Southern Maine, BA in Linguistics-2002; Cornell Law School, J.D.-2005 Zack Paakkonen is originally from Bucksport, Maine. He graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2002 and from Cornell Law School in 2005. He submitted a Note to Cornell's International Law Journal in 2004 about the treatment and education of undocumented immigrant children who are held in custody by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. He is a member of a client-centered law practice in Portland, Maine and handles a number of family law matters, including divorce cases, parental rights and responsibilities cases, guardianship proceedings, adoptions, and child protective matters involving the LGBT community. His philosophy is that it is most important to emphasize quality work and to perform thorough investigations while maximizing efficiency in order to keep costs lower for the parties and to resolve cases quickly and fairly. His approach is to focus on reaching agreement between the parents in order to best benefit the child. Fees:
