Lauri Boxer-Macomber works with the law firm of Kelly, Remmel and Zimmerman in Portland ME and has been a court-rostered GAL for several years. Lauri's true passion, however, is serving in the capacity of a mediator. She regularly assists families and their attorneys, GALs and other professionals in resolving family and domestic cases. Lauri mediates for the court, and she also offers private mediation services in a comfortable setting, and at reasonable rates, to represented and unrepresented parties at the law firm of Kelly, Remmel and Zimmerman. Lauri's GAL and mediation practices are informed by her training and experience in civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, family law, health care law, domestic violence, grandparent rights, de facto parent rights, third party rights and constitutional law. Employing her skills and experience, she is able to assist parties with working together for the best interests of their children, as well as in developing practical, viable, and sustainable solutions to a wide array of family issues.
