Suzanne Thompson
The Law Offices of Suzanne E. Thompson, Esq. LLC Education: Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, Saint Michael's College; Juris Doctorate, cum laude, Suffolk University Law School I am licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine and began my solo practice in Portland in 2009. My practice focuses primarily on family law and guardian ad litem work in family matters and protective custody cases. I currently volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers Project's Court House Assistance Program and am a member of the Maine State Bar Associations family law section. While in college and law school I tailored my volunteerism and work towards children, volunteering at the Vermont Children's Forum in Montpelier, Vermont, working as a law clerk in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court and volunteering as a legal assistant at Children's Legal Services, Inc. (CLS) in Brookline, Massachusetts, where my primary role was conducting Guardian ad litem investigations and drafting reports. I am dedicated to working with families and children and enjoy the challenges and rewards that serving as a Guardian ad litem brings to my practice. Fees:
