Bridget O'Rourke
Law Office of Bridget O'Rourke Education: Vermont Law School (JD cum laude, 1987), UC Berkeley, (BS 1983) Bridget O'Rourke accepts Guardian ad litem appointments in family matters, probate and child protection cases. She works in the courts in central Maine including, but not limited to Augusta, Farmington, Lewiston and Skowhegan. In addition, Bridget is available to serve as a Parenting Coordinator. A licensed attorney since 1987, Bridget also practiced law in Vermont, Washington and Colorado. She has been a mediator since 1995. Her diverse background includes substantial experience in domestic violence, child sexual abuse and special education. Bridget had a solo family law and mediation practice in Colorado for five years. During that time, she served the Colorado Judicial Branch as a domestic relations mediator, Parenting Coordinator and family team meeting facilitator. Bridget is a member of the Maine Guardian ad litem Institute, Maine State Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts. Her office is located at 167 Main Street in Winthrop.
